I love hanging out with my cousin. She's awesome. So, one day we were hanging out, and she just happened to mutter, "Huh. I wonder what it would be like if two kids went to their grandparent's cherry farm in Romania and fell into a tree into some catacombs, and ran into a cat." My first thought was along the lines of, 'how ridiculous is that?' But then, I thought it over some more. When I came back to my home in Ohio, I went to my computer and typed her idea out. And then a couple more pages developed. Then, I had an idea for Kilded, and oglers and shifters, and Kyran grew right before my eyes. Some time later, I had finished Dragon Caves: The Discovery, and I have no one to thank but my wonderful and creative cousin for the idea it sprouted from.
